Group Fitness classes at the City Club of BuckheadBe inspired by City Club of Buckhead's innovative Group Exercise Schedule. Our classes are led by the most popular and dynamic instructors in the city.

With over 30 classes each week, you can explore cardio, dance, muscle conditioning, group cycling, and sport-specific classes, in our state-of-the-art studios, utilizing specialized flooring, lighting, temperature, and music to create an unparalleled Group Exercise experience.

Group Fitness Classes

Boot Camp: A non-traditional circuit workout that combines athletic drills, strength training, plyometrics, and no choreography, to increase your fitness level.

Cardio Sculpt: The ultimate total body workout. An intense, empowering class that will improve your cardio conditioning while defining and sculpting every muscle in your body. Be prepared for a varied workout of fun and challenging exercises.

Cycle Zone: A high intensity workout designed to challenge your cardiovascular system and make you sweat. This class is a dynamic cross-training workout for cycling enthusiasts.

Cycle 60: A non-impact workout that is both challenging and fun. Add this to your exercise routine for a great cross-training benefit! Cyclist controls the resistance of the group cycling bikes, which makes class perfect for any fitness level.

Cycle 45: Take it to the max in this challenging and invigorating class. This 45 minute class combines music and athleticism to create an electric environment that will keep the rider fit, motivated and healthy.

Dance Trance: Dance Trance is a fitness class that uses choreographed dance routines to get the most out of a workout. The class is a mix of Latin, Hip Hop and Street and is so much fun! Come in and experience it for yourself! Free for members and $15 for guests.

Kick Box & Abs: This dynamic class combines elements of boxing, martial arts, and aerobics to provide overall physical conditioning and toning. Unlike other types of kickboxing, cardio kickboxing does not involve physical contact between competitors. Kickboxing & Abs improve balance, flexibility, coordination, endurance and core strength.

Pilates Mat: Develop core strength, economy of motion, flexibility and agility with our signature Pilates classes. Transform your body on the mat, or train with our certified Pilates instructors on our state-of-the-art reformers.

Pilates Reformer Classes The Pilates reformer works on a pulley system. You can do exercises standing, kneeling, sitting, or lying down. Your resistance, which is the main part of the workout, comes from pulling the straps attached to springs along with your own body weight. Levels of resistance on the machine are adjustable. Our certified Pilates instructors will develop a personalized workout routine that will improve your alignment, increase range of motion, flexibility and core strength. Once you get started, you will discover virtually endless amounts of exercises you can do to work every major muscle group. These classes are personal training and there is an additional cost to attend.

Power Pump: A strength and toning workout utilizing hand weights, body bars, resistance tubing, resist-a-balls, and individual body resistance to improve core and muscle strength in all major muscle groups.
Step/ Sculpt: Take charge of your day with this high energy class that provides a balanced workout combining cardio and strength exercises. This high energy class is designed to increase your cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength/endurance, and flexibility. Whether you are a first time stepper, or have been stepping for years, this class offers a variety of moves that are challenging and can be modified to all fitness levels.

Stretch Class: This 45 minute class will enable you to stretch most of your major muscle groups, loosen tight neck and shoulder muscles, open those hip flexors and gets the blood flowing. Perfect for all fitness levels!

Triathlon Training: This spin and weight class is for triathletes, those considering signing up for a triathlon or members who want to take their workout to a new level. This class will focus on specific cycling skill sets needed for optimal performance including fixed interval sets, ladders, superspins, standing sprints, tempo sets, recovery and weight training. Tuesday class begins on the workout floor and Thursday class begins in the cycling room. Free for members, $10 for guests.

Water Aerobics: Water Aerobics is a safe total body workout that is easy on your joints while still working your heart and major muscle groups. This class can help improve strength, flexibility and balance, and you do not need to know how to swim.

Yoga: Gain the benefits of stretching, core strengthening, overall body toning and awareness. Combine the benefits of Eastern and Western disciplines to enhance strength, posture, flexibility and balance and leave with an overall sense of well-being! Different variations and progressions accommodate participants of all levels emphasizing relaxation and the mind/body connection.

Zumba: The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got Zumba®!
